Service Description
Here’s what we look for: 1. Abdominothoracic Respiratory Flexibility (ARF), or how much your ribcage is able to expand on your inhale and narrow on your exhale. ARF shows if your are a Vertical (upper chest) breather, or a Horizontal (diaphragm/belly) breather, or if you are a little of both. 2. B.O.L.T (Body Oxygen Level Test) Score. This test determines this test determines your tolerance for CO2 in your bloodstream and how well you are able to increase oxygen delivery to blood cells by performing a short breath hold. The longer you can hold your breath, the greater your BOLT Score, which makes breathing easier and more relaxed during exercise. 3. Postural Assessment. Your breathing affects your posture, and your posture affects your breathing. Where are you out of alignment that may be affecting your breathing affects your movement. 4. Functional Movement Assessment. Using 3D MAPS (Movement Assessment and Performance System) we look at how you are likely performing everyday tasks like walking, and reaching, by performing a series of natural movements in all 3 planes of motion.
